First, I appreciate y'all. I used to work for the orange apron and now won't shop at that particular store. My local Lowe's though is fantastic. Love y'all.
My dumb question: Does Lowes cut PVC pipe for customers? I'm trying to build a bird play stand (I have a few rescues) and I am not savvy when it comes to tools, so I'd really rather not cut it myself.
As an aside if there's any chance someone here has done this before, I'd love some insight on the best way to build this damn thing 🤣
Did a small plumbing project over the weekend.
Lowe's was 25-40% higher on things like PVC pipe, elbows, fittings, etc.
Example:
Charlotte Pipe 2-in x 2-in dia x Hub 90-Degree Schedule 40 PVC DWV Elbow
Lowe's $3.19, Home Depot $2.54
Charlotte Pipe PVC Pipe 2-in dia x 10-ft L Plain End Schedule 40 PVC DWV Pipe
Lowe's $20.47, Home Depot $15.78 (29.7% higher).
I could go on and on.
Also their new returns system sucks. If you pay by debit-pin, they can no longer offer cash back. Any card payments have to go back onto the card.
