Hi everyone! With the Boxing Day sale happening next week, we decided to create a thread to answer some commonly asked questions and have a place for discussion around anything BD related. Because we won't have a dedicated simple questions thread please feel free to post them here if you have any.

When will the Boxing Day sale start online? We don’t know for sure, but very likely it will be the this Sunday, December 24th as that has been when the drop happened the last three years. We don't know the exact time, but speculate it will be between 5pm-8pm PT. Keep an eye on this sub and the website for when the sale may begin.

Is it a sitewide sale? No, there's not a percentage discount on everything on the normal site. Most of the core stock will remain full price.

What goes on sale? Essentially the BD sale is a massive extension of WMTM. Lululemon usually "saves up" stock by not having WMTM drops on Thursdays leading up to BD. It's impossible to know exactly what will be on sale but check out the megathreads for past years' drops to get an idea on what's been on sale in the past. 2022 Drop | 2021 Drop| 2020 Drop

Can we return items bought during the sale? The normal return policy applies - if you have a lululemon membership you can return items in person for store credit (you cannot return items via mail, even if they were bought online). Outlet items are final sale as usual.

Can we do price adjustments if something we bought full price goes on sale? The normal price adjustment policy applies as well - if the item is still in stock in the size/color you purchased it in when you contact GEC, they will adjust the price. However because items move so quickly, the best way to guarantee you receive the item at the sale price is to purchase it on sale then return the one you bought full price.

Will there be a sale in stores? Yes! It's hard to say exactly how much stock the stores will have, though - some users will find multiple sale racks in their store and others won't see a huge difference.

Will my local store open early for Boxing Day? Search your store on the lululemon app to get the most accurate information regarding store hours.

Will mods do a drop megathread? Yes! A thread will likely be started once the sale drop begins, but it's a lot more chaotic than a normal Tuesday or Thursday drop since there will likely be a LOT more items and we have no idea when it will begin.

A lot of the items are being phased out for the season or discontinued entirely, so those likely will not restock once they're sold out. For the ones that do restock, restocks will happen randomly (like normal WMTM restocks) until they stop entirely.

Can we return items bought during the sale? The normal return policy applies - if you have a lululemon membership you can return items in-person for store credit (you cannot return items via mail, even if they were bought online). Outlet items are final sale as usual.

I had a friend get told by a manager at a Maryland lulu that stores are opening at 7am on Boxing Day. Has anyone else heard this? When I go on the lulu site, it says opening at 10am at every store.

Hi everyone, happy holidays! With Boxing Day coming on a Sunday and the drop schedule all out of whack, we're not entirely sure we'll be seeing any item drops between now and then. This past Friday we had a surprise drop which is rumoured to have occured in order to ensure items would arrive by December 24. The thread for that drop is HERE in case you missed it!

So with that in mind our usual Monday Pre-Drop Preview will be a sale chat and speculation thread! So feel free to chat about what items you're hoping to score this holiday season as well as any sale intel you may be aware of!

Here's some sale info/rumours we have:

1. The sale sees more items added/restocked in the We Made Too Much (WMTM) sale section, there's no site/storewide discount on all items.

2. Store Boxing Day discounts appear to be back. Some of you have received emails from your local stores about VIP shopping on the 26th before stores open. These appear to be a local store events (so it would have been an email you received if you've purchased from a specific store hosting an event and in that stores system. It's also important to note that events aren't back at all stores company-wide based on the info we have, so this isn't something we're seeing across all stores.)

Here's some tips and tricks to get you ready for the sale:

1. Download the app Pager (Apple) or Alerts for Reddit (Android) so you never miss a drop. See this Boxing Day Pager tutorial from last year here (setup is still the same although I may do an updated one later in the week.)
