Is it advisable not to use a third-party charger with Macbook's MagSafe cable?

Sorry, that article is drivel. A UL/ETL-listed genuine USB-C PD adapter is fine, provided it does the wattage of the MacBook. MagSafe 3 is built to use USB PD on the charger size. There is no need to limit yourself to Apple chargers. More on reddit.com
