I am wondering if there is a new magic mouse 3/4 upcoming. Is there any indication it happening soon or no? I am really torn between some other mouse and magic mouse. Just that i am really not a fan not only the fact it charges from the bottom but that it is also USB lighting. Another thing that is debatable, even though its shape is fine for me, is the edges which are kinda edgy (pun intended), though maybe I would get used to it. So it all comes down to the fact if a new version is arriving soon fixing at least some of these concerns.

Let us pray. Oh Apple, you are so big, so absolutely huge, gosh we are really impressed down here. Forgive us Apple for wanting one little fix to your mouse, the one with the charging port in the place that makes it look like a harpooned seal on a beach when charging. Yes that one. Please Apple, if you could make just one tiny fix. You know, the one we're all desperate for. If you would Apple. Please. We just want a new one in silver. Oh, gosh, thank-you. To you we pray. Amen.

I haven't heard any rumours. You can always check for used stuff. You can save a lot of money so it doesn't hurt if you buy one and a new version comes out in the near future. The bottom charging it not a real issue. With macOS Sonoma you can put the battery widget on your desktop and keep track. And every time you go to the toilet , make a meal or doing a break, you have great chances to charge it because you don't need it. It's like an electric car, you don't drive it until 1% right now before you go for a long trip. Just plug it in at the end of a work week and you will never have issues. I usually run it until 1-5% and plug it in. It last about 1-2 months I think. USB Lightning is only a concern if you don't have any old gadgets. I still have my Ligthnng cable from my iPhone5.
