MagSafe wallet not connecting - Apple Community
Not animations appear when I connect the wallet at the back. If I try to pair manually (Find my -> Items -> + -> Add MagSafe Accessory, it recognise the wallet and show the correct animation. I then select Continue, and continue at the find my screen and receive the error “Cannot Add Wallet Unable to add your wallet to Find My.

I just purchased a new magsafe wallet. However i dont get the pop up to connect to find my. Has anyone had the same issue?

Got mine today. Wasn't working. Erased Networks settings but didn't help. Then I opened Find My app and pressed the little plus (+) sign top right corner and chose the add MagSafe accessory (or something like that, my phone isn't in English] and got error saying my wallet is already added... And suddenly it was in the device list...

I bought the MagSafe directly from Apple, brand new, I have iPhone 12 Pro and do not use a case of any kind.
When I attach it I see the animation but the pop-up asking if I want to add it to my Find My never came, I even tried to manually add it on the Find My app and it never recognizes it.
I also googled and did the "Erase Network Settings" and still hasn't worked.
Is there a problem with the case or my phone or software?

I'm encountering the same "Not your wallet" message when rebooting my iPhone 15 Pro running iOS 18. I have an Apple Leather Wallet with MagSafe. The only work-around is to remove the Wallet from Find My and re-add it.

So I've just bought a MagSafe Wallet for my iPhone 13, but even after restarting my phone and resetting network settings, it doesn't show up in Find My. I've checked and I did buy a wallet supporting Find My.
So I'm wondering if I have a faulty unit or if it's a software issue because I'm on a beta. Does anyone else has this issue?

MagSafe Wallet is working fine with my iPhone 13 Pro on iOS 15.4. Also works fine with the Apple Clear Case with MagSafe and a cheap case from AliExpress. Where did you buy it from? I brought one on Amazon and it was missing the seal, the wallet inside was a knock off so it obviously didn’t work with Find My. I think you’ve unknowingly got a knock off or the original Wallet.

Did it come up with the setup page when you first attached it? I know mine is under devices not items and that annoys me. I’ve also heard that it isn’t compatible with the clear plastic case.

I saw one that has an AirTag holder for the find my function, but that seems not super safe (easy for someone to just pull AirTag off).
I’d like a (somewhat) sleek MagSafe wallet that has full Find My functionality.
I really like my OG leather apple MagSafe wallet, but it’s wearing out and I’d like Find My. The 2nd gen apple leather versions, the find my not being live seems silly. If it falls off the phone and someone takes it, no clue where it went. Or if it falls off my phone in my pocket and then I drop it somewhere, no clue.

April 15, 2025 - Yes, you need to attach it to the iPhone's MagSafe in order for it to detect the wallet and prompt you to add it to Find My. Since the 16e doesn't have MagSafe, it's unable to tell if anything is attached. Even if you could get it into Find My, it still wouldn't with the 16e because the phone would have no way of knowing when it separated from MagSafe.

Find my wallet only works without case - Apple Community
This appears to be by design and not unexpected. If your wallet is attached to your iPhone or the case attached to your iPhone, there wouldn't be any need to be able to locate the wallet, since it's on the iPhone. You'd just look at the iPhone location instead. You can however enable separation alerts if your wallet detaches from your iPhone using a MagSafe silicone case as outlined here:

Bought an official MagSafe Wallet from Apple yesterday, and successfully added it to my devices. However, for whatever reason, it is not appearing in my list of devices in the Find My app. Adding it isn’t an option, as it’s already added to Find My, so I can’t remove and re add it. It’s just not visible at all. And honestly, I don’t even know how the wallet is meant to work with the Find My app. It I have seen other people have it visible in the app.
Any help is appreciated! Thank you.
