My first numpad build!

My Aula F75 is the still the keyboard I gravitate towards most for work. I work with Excel often so I wanted a number pad but didn’t want a full sized keyboard for the times I don’t need the num pad. This Yunzii yz19 is my favorite that I’ve tried so far. I got the brown switches and they nearly match the reaper switches in my Aula f75. The sound is so close. I swapped out my keys to match and she’s perfect! I bought this on Amazon during prime day and it was under $30.

Anyone else using a separate number pad that they like?

Title is relatively self explanatory.

Ideally would have USBC (+/- Bluetooth). I'm happy to solder/assemble as needed.

Budget would be around $100usd incl shipping.

Any keyboards that will have all the needed keys for programming and also not be bad for gaming? (Low responsiveness etc)

I use a G512 with brown switches all day. It’s great compared to the membrane I was using before but after buying my wife a Keychron recently, I’ve kinda grown a bit curious about taking that step into more customs with hot swappable and the like, because, well, my G512 types like shit compared to hers.

So I tested the waters. I bought a mechanical numpad for cheap off Amazon because I needed a spare external, threw some Gateron Baby Kangaroos I bought recommended off a post on here and am waiting for some Pikachu keycaps off AliExpress.

I changed the switches in the Numpad since they arrived about an hour ago, and already the difference in sound is so nice. It’s only been switches and im hooked. My G512 sounds cheap compared to a $20 Chinese numpad off Amazon. I know there’s a lot of tinkering I could do with this thing for sound alone and I’m excited at the prospect.

Hi everyone, I am buying a new TKL mechanical keyboard and I was wondering which might be some of the best mechanical numpads out there so that I can complement my keyboard.

I would very much prefer it to be under 50USD.

Every time I have a full size keyboard hooked up, I think "I almost never use the numpad, let me plug in a tenkeyless."

So, I do. And then I end up putting in numbers and thinking how much easier it would be if I had a full size board hooked up, and end up switching back.

Then when I switch back to a full size board, I think my trackball is too far away from the keyboard and I want to switch back to a 10 keyless.

And, no, you can't make me happy.

I am relatively new to custom mechanical keyboards. After I build my first 75%, now I need to build a numpad for my job. I am struggling to find numpad kits that are in stock. Any suggestions of anything in stock or group buys that are going on right now?

After testing a mechanical keyboard, I fell in love with the premium feeling and after doing to research for my first Mechanical keyboard I noticed that mechanical keyboards with numpad is fairly limited so I was thinking maybe going for a smaller form factor and... maybe i will get used to working without a numpad?

I recently purchased my first custom keyboard - Keychron Q1 (Knob version), and I absolutely love it. However, I'm missing the numpad I had on my previous keyboard, especially when I work in Blender. I just saw that Keychron released a matching numpad, and I almost pulled the trigger, but I started thinking - are there better options out there? maybe numpads that offer more functionality than just buttons? Perhaps bindable macros options? Blender utilizes a looot of shortcuts, I was wondering if there's a product that has maybe the regular numpad keys, plus like an extra row?

Hi, guys. I'm looking for a mechanical keyboard with a numpad under 50€ to replace my old membrane and I would like some recomdations, here's what I want:

-Black case

-Numpad

-Linear switches (tactile would also work)

-RGB (optional but it would be nice)

-Espanish ISO layout (I know i'ts hard to find so i'ts not necessary but I would prefer it)

-Wired

The Keychron V5 would be perfect but the cheapest I could find it's 80€

I've been searching online and the best alternative I found is the Ajazz ak992 on AliExpress for around 50€, I'd like to know what you think about it and any alternatives. Thanks! :)

Hi guys, Im looking for a pre-built numpad that doesnt require soldering (i.e. hotswappable or comes with switches installed) and I cant find anything like that. My budget is around £75 but can probably be pushed up a bit. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Are there any calculators with mechanical keyboards that also double as a num pad? I saw DUCK made one and it was like $90 bucks, is it really that expensive to make something like this? A numpad+calculator without mech keys are like $20 on amazon. A mech key numpad is also like $20 on amazon. Can't someone put the 2 together for cheap?
