Going to a thrift store soon and wanted to know what should I look for when buying a sweater or hoodie (I’m trying to find good quality pieces) I know nothing about what material is best, what should I keep an eye out for when looking at the tag? Thank you so much

Hi everybody! I’m looking at a sweater that I was thinking of adding to my Christmas list, but want to make sure it’ll be worth it. I’ve attached a screenshot of the fabric percentages it’s made of. I was hoping people who know more than me might be able to explain to me what these percentages will mean in regards to durability and comfort of the sweater. Thanks in advance! Happy holidays 🎅
Hi! I am going towards a capsule wardrobe, but I've never been able to find a well-made sweater I like. What do you look for in a sweater? any suggestions of where to get one from? I would prefer to pay more if it is well made and from a brand that is sustainability focused. Thank you!!!
Edit: thanks so much everyone! I grew up in a warm climate place which is why I made it so long with so little sweater knowledge. I split time between the west coast of the US and the South Island of New Zealand. I now have a much better idea of what to look for and how to care for the sweaters once I have them! I will have to make an update once I find them :)
