I’ve been trying to sign up for an MLB account for DAYS. I’ve tried the app. I’ve tried the website on Chrome and Safari, and I’ve tried that on a Mac and a Windows computer. I keep getting an error message. I reached out to customer service and they sent me instructions on how to sign up for an account, which is what I’m already doing 🤦🏻‍♀️😒 I have tickets to a Pirates game that I cannot access without an account. Does anyone have any idea as to what is going on? Is anyone else having this problem??

It's the password. You're meeting the stated requirements but using a common word. Just helped my mom with this. Let the phone pick a strong password

Problem solved! I ended up using my husband’s android phone to create an account through the app. This time the error message was more specific. It didn’t like my choice of password (said it was too popular). Used a different password, got in, found my tickets.

Was sent tickets by email - downloaded the app on my new iPhone, tried to create an account and i get "something went wrong. Please try again."

So i tried creating an account on in the following ways all with the same error:

-MLB.com on Windows, in Chrome/Edge/Firefox on Mac in Safari/Chrome

-iPhone, Android phones on wifi at two locations and on LTE

-Cleared internet Cache and tried all again.

Always ends in the same with that error message.

Looking online at the various "website down" sites and theres regular reports as early as May 01, 2020
