Just got a 14 pro and wondering if which case to get. Had Mous cases on my 11 and loved them but kinda been looking at OtterBox. Might stick with Mous but figured I’d put the question out there

Mous Limitless 4.0 Review (and comparisons with Otterbox Symmetry+)
So in case anyone is interested, here’s my review of the new MagSafe compatible Limitless 4.0 case from Mouse.
I’ve used the Otterbox Symmetry cases with my last few phones and decided to go for the Symmetry+ for my 12 Pro Max but was curious about Mous cases because everyone is always raving about them.
Decided to order the new Limitless 4.0 with the walnut finish and, whilst it’s a nice case, I’ll be returning it and sticking with the Otterbox for now.
First, it’s just beautiful, no discussion, the walnut back looks extremely smart and just sexy.
However, the biggest downfall for me is how freaking slippery it is. The side offer almost no grip and I could see this slipping out of my hands continuously. This is extremely disappointing as it kills the usefulness of the case for me and it’s the dealbreaker.
Another thing that disappointed me is that the actual case looks different than how it’s pictured on the Mous website. The pictures online show a completely flush/flat back. But the real case has a noticeable raised frame or “camera bump” so it doesn’t lay flat how I was expecting. Good to keep in mind if this is a feature anyone was after.
Apart from that, the magnets in the back actually feel stronger than the Otterbox so that’s a plus for Mous. The volume and power buttons are also more clicky and responsive on the Limitless.
Overall I’ll be sticking with my Symmetry+ which offers considerable more grip overall and in my opinion a bit more protection too.
I’m disappointed because I thought the Mous was going to be the perfect combo of sexiness and protection. If they ever add more grip to those sides I’ll be sure to check them out again but at the moment (and specially for the price) I’d say skip it.
Hope this helps anyone out there.
