I would use the returns system with "missing item" as the return reason. It's an automated system so there is no one to talk with. This and other subreddits has shown me that customer service agents don't have much more information than what is listed so they can't answer "why." More on reddit.com

1 week agoMy Prime account was suspended on June 1st. I updated my billing information in their time limit. I waited weeks. I'm still suspended.

okay so my parents found out i have an amazon prime account today and now they want access to it so they can place an order through it but i can’t just let them have access to my account for privacy reasons.
so i need to make sure neither of them can see my cart, wishlist, browsing history, and never ever for the love of god my order history.
if i invite my dad to join my amazon family or whatever will he be able to see my order history or what’s in my cart? he’s already being a bitch about it so i need to know asap before he just hacks my account or some shit 0~0

You're getting so much wrong info. NO they won't if you set it up correctly. You DO have to share your credit card between accounts and live at the same address. You can have multiple cards but they are all shared. They have to have a totally separate account and then you invite them to share your "prime benefits". I recently became my Aunt's power of attorney. She's 94 and can no longer handle her finances. I discovered that she is paying monthly for a Prime membership. I was able to determine that her account is linked to a cell phone # that she used to use, however her ancient cell phone is dead, so asking Amazon to send a verification code to that # is useless. Is there any work around someone would suggest. I guess next month when the charge is posted to her credit card I could try to dispute it, but I'm sure the best way to is deal with Amazon directly, but I can't figure out how without knowing her log in credentials.

If you are a woman, or have a friend/sister that is willing to help, you can pretend to be your aunt. Having gone through this, it is sometimes the easiest path to get something fixed. My aunt passed away a couple years ago, and the phone bill was in my uncle's name, and he had passed well over 10 years prior. I called up and said I was "John Smith" and I wanted to cancel my AT&T landline. After a few questions, and after them failing to upsell me to a cell plan, they were very nice about letting me cancel and pay the final bill. Of course you will have to be ready with all the personal info like birthdate, SS number, phone numbers, email addresses, and so on. But if you are prepared with all that, and can be a convincing actor, I would say go for it. I mean, who is going to run to the authorities for you for canceling an account, especially since you have POA. If you were trying to open new accounts in her name, then I would be the first in line to report this. But with elderly that can no longer handle their affairs, I think there needs to be some relaxed rules to close accounts.

Last week, Sunday, I ordered two plastic stickers for the back of my snake terrariums. Total cost: 19$
The delivery photo below is of the mailroom at my complex, but taken through the door. Not even entering the mail room. My last name starts with a T, and it's not even pictured here.
My package was not here. So I reached out to customer service.
For a $19 package, I had to not only take photos of the area surrounding my actual apartment, but also the locked doors to each building, and the mailroom entry and mailroom, AND fill out a loss form. Something I have NEVEr had to do before.
About 4 months ago, I ordered 16 chargers for my business, and only 14 showed up, so I had to file a police report in order to get them reshipped, or refunded. I filed a police report, submitted the info, and they still refused.
So, with this final conversation with the Amazon "customer service" rep, I have officially cancelled my account for good.

Well, playing devil's advocate here, while I DO NOT dispute you didn't get it, the photo doesn't actually prove anything if that was what was sent to Amazon as it MIGHT have been mistakenly put under the wrong "letter". As far as cancelling Prime, thank you for the announcement. There really should be a BuhByePrime SUB where all announcements can be posted. And to think Amazon CS can possibly answer that question, you obviously don't read this sub enough. I'm surprised they didn't give you a fake answer. Would that have been better?
