Hey folks. I dug through some older post but none of them really seemed to have the information I was looking for or were pretty old. I work for an MSP and we've been getting complaints from clients that there is a lot of background noise when they're talking to our engineers on the phone. There's probably 30 or so people in our bull pen, no cubicles or dividing walls to help mitigate sound. I need a solid headset with preferably stereo speakers (and preferably circumaural if such a thing exists in the professional world) with really good noise rejection. We've tested a couple headsets which have decent noise rejection while the wearer is speaking, but as soon as they fall silent the gain picks up and amplifies the background chatter. Are there headsets that have dedicated noise rejection mics so that it can tell the audio is coming from somewhere other than the speakers mouth and reject it? Any help is greatly appreciated, I've been searching around but any time I google "headset" it wants to give me results for headphones or gaming oriented products.
Edit: I should mention, we're using Teams soft phones so the headsets need to connect to a laptop not a desk phone
Hello all,
Our company runs a tech support helpdesk and we’re currently in the midst of testing a softphone option running from our computers as opposed with the current hard phone system.
Our call center can be noisy at times so we require a good headset that will offer both TX and RX noise cancellation.
I was hoping to have a few suggestions from you experts on the matter.
The must have features are:
Active noise cancellation for both TX and RX
Connection method must be USB
Audio Clarity for both TX and RX
I’m interested in both Wired and Wireless options.
Thanks!!!
As we do solutions for 911 Centers we use Jabra and Plantronics DA90
