I need to print a single piece of paper for a rebate.
I don't understand people with the self service printers...
go to ss printers
"can you print these for me, cuz i don't know how to use this printer"
Me: "ok, would you like to have the print associate do this for you?" (I'm at the register nearby)
"no cuz it's 14¢, this is cheaper."
"you do understand it's the same thing if I do it, and I'm going to charge you 14¢"
"Wut?"
facepalm
Our cashier will tell them if they need assistance from the CPD associates they don't get the self service cost, and have to pay what we charge behind the counter. Most get a handle on it and figure out how to do it themselves, but some will get violent and just storm out in frustration because they can't follow instructions on how to use the machine...
I ask if someone helped them. I will ring up fs. If someone else pressed that green button for you then dude it's fs.
Hi all, I am a customer that needs help with self service printing. I am sure I’m doing something wrong but I haven’t found an answer.
I’ve emailed designs I created to the Office Depot printing email to get a code and each time I go to print, it takes the designs (3 separate pngs) and combines them into one page with the designs really tiny. In fact, I think when I put in the code, it just prints the whole email, like even my email signature. I even take the time to properly size my designs before hand.
The first time I did it I asked for help but they just ended up printing it for me at the desk (nice). The second time I could tell they were stressed and I was told they didn’t have time to help show me what to do. So I’m anxious to go in again and ask for help.
Is it because I’m doing pngs? It didn’t specify online which file is better. But should I try separate pdfs? Or just do ONE document per email? (But will it still print out just the email itself? I don’t really get why that’s happening).
Any help is so appreciated. I know this is annoying and I just want to figure out how to do it myself so I can get in and out. I appreciate all you guys do. Thanks.
