I’ve just tried it on a tablet and it works fine for me. Once you have the room started from scratch, on the right hand side, you might have to scroll that bit up, is an option for ‘Room Design’ where you can set dimensions. The options on the right I have (in top down order) are; Frames Doors, Handles, Interiors, Organisers, Lights, Room Design. More on reddit.com

I am just so used to inches I can easily figure out the size in feet. But with the Ikea planner especially(as the products listings do have the size in inches though I would like the filter options to be inches) with cm it is so hard to to make sense of the size by just looking at it. I have to convert it.
I am hoping this is something I have missed as I cannot think that Ikea would have not given that option to its users.

Dev from Ikea here. Which planner are you using? I know most of them and in the ones I've worked on the measurements are set based on the market with no option for the user to change them unfortunately.

ikea needs to understand that in some countries we use both metric and imperial, depending on context.
