I just got increase from $2,500 to $5,000. I’m just curious what limit everyone else has. I asked for 5k and they gave it to me. Next time around, I’m probably going to ask for 10k so I want to know if there’s an upper limit to what they let you borrow

They started me out at $8k, I’ve had the card about a month. I’m pretty satisfied with that limit but $10k would be cool.

So I got an email from PayPal which says the following:
You're being upgraded' Congratulations. Your PayPal Credit digital line will be upgraded to the new PayPal Credit Card!' Until then, keep enjoying all the features you know and love. The new PayPal Credit Card is a Mastercard® that expands your previous PayPal Credit digital line with a physical card, limited time special financing for qualifying travel purchases, and added flexibility beyond your PayPal wallet. It can be used online and in store, everywhere Mastercard is accepted. If you don't want the PayPal Credit Card, you can decline the upgrade by using the link below.
Has anyone else gotten this recently? It sounds like it will close my PayPal credit line and essentially open a new card, but this is my second oldest account with a decent limit on it. Should I just decline it, or are they phasing out PayPal Credit and if I don’t accept it I’ll get phased out of the account I have soon anyway?

Got the same email (and concluded it probably wasn't a scam) but it sucks to have to opt out instead of being able to opt in because I don't want to close my PP Credit account (I use the "no interest for 6 months" aspect quite often to spread payments) and don't want another physical credit card.

I just got this email too. The FAQs are helpful to read - you're not losing the 0% interest six month financing option as long as you checkout using PayPal. The difference is now you can use it in stores or on websites that don't accept PayPal. My question is: how would accepting the upgrade to the card affect my credit, if at all? Is it viewed the same way as the line of credit with synchrony or would it show as a new account once the "upgrade" takes place? Specifically, is it part of my credit utilization ratio as a line of credit currently? If it's not, it would definitely become part of it with a card and my credit score could take a hit if I use the zero interest financing and carry a balance for six months. I got this offer a few months ago with Care Credit and declined it because it would have been a new hard inquiry on my credit, as I understood it. So I'm hesitant to accept this one from PayPal for similar reasons.

I have PayPal Credit and now a physical PayPal Mastercard "Cashback World" card. I'm phasing out the former for the latter due to the 3% cash-back bonus.
For PayPal Credit, though, you just go to "Credit Services" in the top-right of the site, click "Request Credit Increase", and you're good.
I see no such option for the Mastercard.
Do you have to call them every time you want a credit limit increase for the Mastercard or is this a "You're at the mercy of whenever Synchrony gives you a limit increase" kind of thing?

I have PayPal buyer credit it's right there on the page where it says your current balance and then it'll say your credit limit and to the right it says request increase

In the app, click on Manage. Then, scroll down to where you see your current credit limit. Under the limit, you should see "Request Increase" link. The link appears and disappears from time to time so, if you don't see it, you may not be currently eligible due to the length of time since the account opened or how long it's been since your last increase. You can also call to request a CLI as well.

You’re being balance chased. You’ve apparently been carrying a balance for so long that they consider you a big risk with unsecured credit unless it’s near zero. Synchrony does this a lot, and you can point fingers all day, but do reflect on how you can re-think your finances. People generally aren’t balance chased for no reason.
