What are the benefits of a propane fire pit compared to a wood-burning one?
What are some popular brands of portable fire pits?
What surfaces are safe to place a portable fire pit on?
Portable fire pits should be placed on non-flammable, stable surfaces to ensure safety and protect your property. Suitable surfaces include concrete, stone, brick, or gravel patios. Avoid placing fire pits directly on grass, wooden decks, or other combustible materials unless you use a protective fireproof mat or pad underneath. These precautions help prevent heat damage and reduce the risk of accidental fires.
Fellow outdoor enthusiasts, I’m curious to hear your thoughts on small fire pits. What features do you find most useful? Any tips for getting the most out of these portable fire pits? I’m always looking to learn from others’ experiences, so please share your insights!
Hey everyone. I’m looking for recommendations on portable raised fire pits because some places that I camp at don’t always have a fire ring to use. I don’t want propane fire pits, just something raised to burn some wood. I do not plan on cooking over it either. Ideally would like for it to fold away small or break down to a manageable size to keep inside my 4Runner when not in use. I’ve attached a photo of something similar to what I’m looking for (I may even buy that one, who knows… but wanted to hear from others before pulling the trigger). I tried searching the group but a lot of posts were for propane fire pits. Thank you!
