Right-click on the refresh button and add it to the quick access toolbar (for this example, let's assume it's assigned to Alt+4).

No catch, you just don’t get access to paid features. Those paid features make it much, much easier to use Power BI in an organizational setting, but if you’re just using it for yourself it’ll be fine.
