What do yall think of Pratt Whitney Engines?
As a whole I think they're fine. There's going to be good and bad employees at any company. I've seen plenty of nightmares and horror shows with gulfstreams coming straight out of Maintenance from Savannah. Barring the 308A coatings eroding very early, their engines don't have any more or less flaws than Rolls, GE, Honeywell, or even Garrett. I will add though that their being under Textron's umbrella adds a caveat to their support and internal infrastructure given Textron's less than ideal business practices and customer support over the years. For some reason I always thought Rolls Royce was the pinnacle of plane engines, I recently learned that these 737 sized engines for the 777 are GE engines!
those are actually Pratt & Whitney PW4000 engines. all three major manufactures made 777 engines but the ones in the image above are P&Ws More on reddit.com

Do you think CFM will remain the largest engine manufacuter ?
Considering they've got engines on both of the current major narrowbody planes in production (as the only engine on 1, 1 of 2 choices on the other), I expect they'll remain near the top for production numbers. The number of 737s and A320s out there is downright massive compared to the numbers for most other airplane models. More on reddit.com
