A label printer is so worth it. I bought my ZP 450 for $120 used and it’s lasted 9 years now. Thousands of shipping labels. No cutting, no expensive ink. Thermal labels can be bought for so cheap. It’s 100% worth the small investment. I just checked and see new they are now going for $250!!! And $200 used. I still think it’s worth it. More on reddit.com

October 13, 2020WHAT KIND OF SHIPPING/LABEL PRINTER SHOULD I BUY?
With the Rollo wireless, you can easily print to it from your phone or whatever without downloading their app. I do really like my Rollo. I have a wired and a wireless (I use both daily), but about once a week, I have to reset the wireless because it quits connecting. Not a huge deal though. More on reddit.com

Due to the coating on WePrint products, they cannot be run through personal inkjet or laser printers.

The rest of our label stock does not feature a top coat and should not be run through a secondary printer. For context let me explain, I'm 17 and have no idea how the mail works, my parents never prepared me for this. And my boyfriend started selling on OfferUp, he got an order and the app generated a shipping Label for him. He got a box, printed out the label, and went to the post office. When he got there they just asked for the package, he gave it to them and walked out. Apparently he asked and the person working there said "that's it" and now we're both worried something wrong happened?? He basically dropped it off and left and didn't pay for it like we thought he was supposed to, but it bothers me, that doesn't seem normal? But then again I know nothing about how it works. Can someone explain what happened, how the mail works with at home printed shipping labels.

Look in the upper right corner of the label (which you can still see by looking at the PDF file they sent you), it says "US POSTAGE AND FEES PAID". That means it's already paid for -- you cannot print such a thing with legit barcodes without someone having paid the postage already. Lots of companies use prepaid labels for things, specifically so you don't have to worry about paying at the post office or FedEx or whatever. If the company only gives you an address and not a label with barcodes, then you have to pick how you want to ship it and pay for that shipping yourself.
