€100 minimum discount on all PS5 consoles, including the Pro
It seems Sony will be repeating the same promotion offered in Europe during Days of Play 2025 on PS5 Slim consoles . This discount amounted to €100 and was valid on both the Standard and Digital Editions of the PS5. But a surprise might be in store, as the PS5 Pro is now also slated to benefit from an unprecedented discount .
Indeed, Sony's premium console, the PS5 Pro , is expected to be offered in Europe at a price of €699 . While we have seen more attractive offers from some retailers, this would be the first time such a discount has come directly from Sony. The previous promotion, valid during Days of Play 2025, offered only a €50 immediate discount.
Furthermore, the PS5 Fortnite Flowering Chaos bundle is also expected to arrive in Europe in both Standard and Digital versions at the recommended retail price of the standalone PS5 and will benefit from the €100 discount. Below, we summarize all the expected offers on PS5 consoles, which should begin on November 21, 2025 :
PS5 console – Standard edition (with disc drive): €449 instead of €549
PS5 console – digital edition (without disc drive): €349 instead of €499
PS5 Fortnite Flowering Chaos Bundle – Standard Edition : €449 instead of €549
PS5 Fortnite Flowering Chaos bundle – digital edition : €349 instead of €499
PS5 Pro console : €699 instead of €799
Thinking about a PS5 Slim but not sure whether to go for the Slim Disc or the Slim Digital version.

I've been waiting literally years for a good PS5 disc console deal and every Black Friday has been disappointing. Think 2025 will finally be the year they actually drop the price? Console has been out long enough that 500 bucks seems high, especially when games are getting more expensive. Wondering if Sony will do like 400 or even 450 to move units before the holidays.

I already have PS5 launch edition which I bought used earlier this year. Finally got back to gaming after a decade. Have cleaned about 15 titles including RDR2, cyberpunk, Elden ring, Spiderman series, ratchet and clank, resident evil 4 etc
Now all these are for the holidays!
PS: the new PS5s are for my younger cousins who secretly want a PS5. And that’s for them

I just graduated recently and started working (finally able to justify buying a console 😅). I’ve been planning to get a PS5 around Black Friday, but I just got an email from PlayStation for a Back to School offer — $125 off a new PS5 console (direct from PlayStation, invite-only) valid until October 27.
The prices right now are: • PS5 Disc (1TB) – $549.99 • PS5 Digital (825GB) – $499
So with the discount, it comes down to about $425 for the Disc or $374 for the Digital.
I was originally going to wait for Black Friday deals, but now I’m wondering if this is already as good as it gets. I’m not in a huge rush, but I’d love to start playing soon, especially since I’ve been holding off for months.
For anyone who follows PS5 pricing trends — do you think it’s worth taking this offer, or should I hold out a few more weeks for possible bundle or deeper Black Friday discounts?

I just bought a PS5 today at a great price — only $180 with a phone plan (it’ll cost about $230 total over 6 months). I decided to buy it now instead of waiting for Black Friday because I’ve seen the 1TB version go up in price from about $470 to around $580, and the newer model only has 825GB. I had 512GB on my Xbox Series S before, and I know how nice it is to have the extra storage. I honestly don’t think I could get it cheaper even on Black Friday.
Now I’m trying to figure out when to buy EA Sports FC 26 and a 12-month PlayStation Plus subscription. I know there were usually good Black Friday deals back then when I had PlayStation (5+ years ago) but I’m not sure if that’s still true this year. I’m a student, so saving matters.
Also — as someone who’s played a lot of FIFA, I actually find the early Ultimate Team stage kinda boring anyway. Later in the year there are usually better promos and it’s easier to build a fun squad (fellow and current FUT-players, tell how you feel about FC26 until now 🫣)
So… do you guys think it’s smart to wait for Black Friday for FC 26 and PS Plus? Or just grab it now?
