Is Razer Cortex good for optimisation, or just snake oil?
From what I could find out it clears out old files Windows files, defragments hard disks, and turns off non key window process during games. Rather or not it will help much I guess depends on how much RAM you have.

Edit: to what you were asking about if its shake oil. the process being turned off would free up some RAM but if you knew what you are doing you could turn them off yourself like the video Alex did on the windows 10 video (although you probably want need to go that extreme)

Once a Play to Earn session has started, your phone should display an app notification which indicates that a Play to Earn session has started. Once a Play to Earn session has ended, you will receive an app notification that your Play to Earn session has ended. If you meet the required 3 minutes game play for play session, Silver will be waiting for you inside the Razer Cortex Games.

I do but only in graphic-intensive ganes like cyberpunk. Fps usually is raised about 5-25 average depending the scene.
