My wife is looking for an inexpensive desktop for her side gig. She found a refurbished HP 8200 at Wally World for around $140. They proudly state that the seller is one of the only Microsoft authorized refurbishers. It has an Intel I5 core, 1TB hd, 8 gigs of ram and a fresh version of Windows 10 Pro. The Bluetooth and WiFi are apparently done with a usb adapter. Anyone with any experience going this route? I haven’t done anything with desktops since like 2003. And again this is just for a little home based side gig. Thanks in advance!

Just got off the phone with Walmart after 2nd refurbished laptop stopped working only few days after the 30 day refund policy was past ... can't get any help from anyone of how to reach fame enterprises the actual seller of the laptop through walmart . Com it is a scam please buyer beware

Hello everyone,
Anyone have any experience purchasing a refurbished desktop from Walmart or other retailers? Any insight on the quality?
I was wanting to get a new PC to replace my parents old relic. They basically only use a PC for internet browsing, so I wanted to save some money and not buy new or build new.
I saw a few refurbs from Dell and HP that already had SSDs for $250 - $350, and it seems perfect for there needs.
Anybody have problems with the hardware failing soon after, like PSU craping out?
Or does anyone have a better way to get a new "internet box"?
