Hi Everyone,
so I recently build this PC and used the white version of the ROG Strix Helios case. It comes with 4x140mm case fans (ROG A1425L125) preinstalled, three in the front as intake and one in the back as exhaust. I am someone who is noise sensitive and ever since I finished the build, I sometimes got incredibly annoyed at both the noise of the fans and regular sounds that seemed to be coming either from them or the CPU Cooler.
So I decided to replace them with the Arctic P14 silent 140mm fans and I hoped for a bit of a noise reduction. But instead I got a case that was so quiet that I could hear the mainboard. Even if you hit the max power button for the fans, it doesnt get much louder, its incredible and I am just so happy.
The Corsair AIO is actually louder than these fans, which is not much of a shock, but as I assumed it could be the culprit, I am quite happy that it was the preinstalled ROG fans.
The only thing I should mention is that the bracket that holds the three front fans is an absolute bitch to reattach. Really, it sucks.
