Maybe the 6 *was* a laggy mess, but after the updates over the year it works just fine for me. My 7 comes today so I suppose there will be some hiccoughs and a little time before the battery gets its bearings, but I expect it to perform about the same - just with more sensors More on reddit.com

The Watch 7 44mm is nice in that you get everything good about the Ultra except for the larger battery - same size screen, same Sensors, same dual-band GPS, same CPU, GPU, RAM, Storage, etc. But cheaper and without the weight, bulk, and fugly square-circle design. The only thing I don't like about the 7 is that the screen is a bit exposed unless you use a case, but those have their own issues.

I'm using the GW7 44mm and I have ZERO complaints (I come from the 6 classic). Rumor has it they are bringing back the rotating bezel on the 8 but honestly? I have not missed too much if at all. Battery has been good for me, for example I wear it all day and night, and charge it while in the shower and that gives me enough juice.
