February 14, 2021 - On mobile Chrome, at least on my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, click on the address bar then the SHARE button. There's an option to generate a similar QR code there. More replies ... What the F... ... So convenient for saving photos from sites. I usually use airdrop or drag photos to my photos app on Mac and they sync to my phone. But I think it’s even faster to just scan the QR and it opens up that image to save.

I feel like an idiot. I found a QR code I wanted to use in the web browser on my phone. So I walked over to my computer, looked up the same web page, held my phone up to scan the QR code (worked great), then realized just how stupid I felt.
How can I use a QR code on my phone without bringing it up on another computer first?
