I’m considering SEMRUSH.
I’ve a cleaning business and I want it to rank on first page. I’m done creating my website and now I’m considering purchasing a seo tool that helps with audit and helps with optimisation and spot my mistakes
Hello everyone. I have been doing SEO for a while and things are going well. I just want to get an opinion, what are the tools that all you SEO's are using and how are they working out for you. What do you like about them and all of that fun stuff. CHeers

Hi. Recently, our company had a debate about which platform is best for a client’s new ecommerce website - Shopify, WordPress, or maybe Magento. After a long discussion, we dismissed Magento as having fewer SEO capabilities compared to the other two. But perhaps there are other SEO-advanced platforms that are incredibly good for SEO?
So, I propose we discuss which website builders you think are the best for SEO. This could include online stores, blogs, small business websites, etc.
Please provide well-reasoned answers. Responses like "I love WP" won't be accepted :)
I’m a program manager at a tech startup, and part of my job involves finding and managing new tools and licenses for our team. Right now, our marketing team is using a mix of free SEO tools to track site issues, keyword performance, backlinks, and more.
As our company grows, I’m exploring whether it makes sense to invest in a comprehensive SEO platform like SEMrush. While I understand that paid platforms offer benefits like better data aggregation, detailed reporting etc.
I’m curious about how they might contribute to actual SEO improvement. Thanks in advance!
We are a brand new business - trying to turn our little hobby into a business.
We sell screen printed shirts (I have 23 years experience working in the industry and starting my own now).
We have no income yet so its whatever we have in the bank - we want to do some print advertising around town and then try to optimize our website (wix) and google business profile with an online SEO tool.
We could maybe afford like $40 a month (eventually we will want to spend more but don't have money yet).
Best options?
As a beginner in using SEO tools, I am currently seeking recommendations.
I'm using GoDaddy but found the builder didn't ow me to add things like H2 and 3 tags.
Is WordPress or Shopify better for SEO for an e-commerce store?
Thansk!
Would like to know what are your current tect stack for SEO along with any recent finding or insights for SEO
Hi I am with Shopify and I am disappointed with a lot of aspects of their service.
If I am moving my website to a different platform, which one performs best in terms of SEO for ecommerce? Which is easiest to transfer to from Shopify?
I know there is several SEO tools out there I want to know what are you using and why you are using it also what they can improve
I’m looking to streamline my tool stack and focus only on what provides long-term value. What paid tools do you consider absolutely worth it — whether for content, backlinks, audits, or tracking?
So far I’ve used things like Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Surfer — curious what others rely on consistently. Bonus points if you can explain why you think it’s worth the price.
Hi everyone!
It's embarrassing to admit that I haven't always cared about SEO, but am finally understand how important it is. I'm learning a lot and want to boost my clients website SEO and even my own.
What affordable (or even free) tools are available to be able to track the improvement in my clients SEO? I want to be able to show them (and myself) the difference that I'm making, as well as maybe getting help with keywords and other help for improving SEO. I've seen dashboards like semrush, ahrefs, etc but wanted to come here to ask what you all recommend.
I really appreciate it!
I'm a web designer and I'm keen on adding some SEO services to the business. I'm currently following a Udemy course to learn more about SEO and there's a focus on Semrush.
Is it considered an industry must-have or are there better (or preferably free!) alternatives for keyword research?
Hey folks,
I’m looking for some advice on the best platform to quickly build a simple website that’s still SEO-friendly. I’m offering IT consulting on a very specific topic, and since companies will be required to implement a certain type of software next year, the goal is to attract clients in the short term. I don’t need anything complex, just a clean site that ranks decently on Google and can get online fast.
What would you recommend?
Greetings all!
I'm on the hunt for a Local SEO platform for businesses in the U.S., but the market seems saturated in regard to most offering the same services with slight variations in limits, features, etc.
This is my current SEO technology stack as of right now on a budget:
Dashboards and Reporting: A fully custom Looker Studio design pulling data from GA4 and GSC
Keyword Research: A mix of ShuttleSEO and KWHero v2.0 (previous AppSumo deal)
Keyword Tracking: SerpBear + Scraping Robot on a PikaPod
Website Audits: SEO PowerSuite's Website Auditor (Spider Crawler)
GMB Audits: GMB Everywhere
SEO / AI Writers: KoalaWriter / SEOWRITING .AI / NEURONwriter
I have used Ahrefs, SE Ranking, Semrush, Search Atlas, and SimilarWeb, but I'm looking to cut costs where I can. Although these have great tools, they are pricey and IMO are glorified dashboard reporting tools with a few bells and whistles. They're great for SEO agencies, but for a freelancer with an SEO project here and there, I can't justify the cost.
As of right now, I'm considering the following platforms, and I'll break down their features and pricing. What I'm most interested in are your experiences with these, why you chose one over the other, etc.
If you're paying for one that's more expensive than the other, would love to know why.
If I left what you're using off the list, please share!

Hey everyone,
I'm looking for some affordable SEO tools which aren't Ahrefs or SEMrush (which are both out of my budget at the moment).
The main things I am looking for with the tool/s are:
-
Track keyword rankings on multiple projects (around 5-8 sites)
-
Backlink analysis
-
Keyword research
-
Competitor analysis
-
Site audit
At the moment, I'm leaning towards SE Ranking or Keysearch. SE Ranking seems like the more suitable option for my needs but at £55 per month for the cheapest option, it's not exactly cheap anymore.
Thanks in advance!
My dad owns an auto shop in Vancouver and we've been looking for an all-in-one seo software that could help me audit, give recommendations, and possibly build citations as well?
I think I saw semrush does it all, but the pricing is too high for us right now.
Preferably a tool that uses AI as well would be great.
Hi everyone,
I’ve just started learning SEO and want to begin writing blogs. There are so many platforms out there, and I’m unsure which ones offer the best reach. Any recommendations on where I should write and create profiles? Appreciate any advice from marketers or SEO experts here.
