Shark is pretty much the worst of the worst in terms of parts availability and warranty support unfortunately, treating entire assemblies of the vacuum as wear items. If you can't find the switch, it was probably never available. I'd see if you can get a vac shop to jury rig a switch to last the rest of the vacuum's lifetime, but it's probably not worth putting too much more money into the vacuum at this point.
