If I was looking at a house to purchase, I would consider sheet vinyl to be the lowest quality of flooring possible. It's a low investment and if you are replacing old sheet vinyl, you aren't going to "lose" money. But it's not going to help resale value. More on reddit.com

S599 or S288 armstrong.. They have many generic sheet vinyl adhesives but the feltbacked glue is for feltback vinyl so I would look for just a typical sheet vinyl adhesive. Home depot and the likes are limited. Not sure your area but a supply shop would be your best bet. I have used many types of glue for sheet goods with success.. If you want to go the cheaper route just use a simple LVT/LVP glue. It works all the same.. More on reddit.com

We are remodeling our whole home, and I am interested in vinyl sheet flooring for a few reasons for the bathrooms and kitchen.
Inexpensive
Better water protection than some other options like click-together boards
The old vinyl flooring from the 70s looks amazing, just slightly discolored (longevity seems good)
Easy to install
But I am worried about resale value. I also have found some really cool-looking pieces that have some character/personality, but maybe that's bad for resale too.
