Hello,
Just received my POS Go Handheld. Having major issues connecting it to my iPad. I’ve done everything Shopify has mentioned on their help page. DNS manual input etc.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Anyone familiar with the Shopify POS Go handhelds? We're looking to possibly use those at trade shows instead of doing the iPad set-up. One question I have is I know they have built in credit card readers, but can you still use one of the normal chip readers like you would use via Bluetooth to a regular tablet? That way the employee doesn't have to turn the handheld pos go around over to the customer, rather the customer can just use one of the chip readers and dock to pay. Is this possible?

I havne't actually seen a hands on with one so I can't help there 100% but it appears to be like the square terminal where it is running a custom version of android that only allows you to use the shopify app.
In theory it should work with any shopify pos equipment but you would need to buy one to try it out. They have a free return period if it doesn't work the way you want.
If you have a chance to do a video overview I would be curious to see it in action.
Hello everyone-
I am heading to my first trade show this winter for my company. We want to make sure that we are as efficient as possible so I purchased the POS terminal with a separate barcode scanner. I received a POS GO with the terminal deck. It appears the POS GO was just renamed and lost the function of the barcode scanner. Is this correct or should I return this unit for a the newer version?
