They just pile up and I don’t have anything to use them for.

In Hopping Bonsai Pots, Acorns have a chance of 50% while Resin has a chance of 35%. I've always had trouble with getting enough resin from them.
But ever since I got this system setup,
It's been producing so much more resin than acorns.
It's making me run low on acorns now.
Does anyone know why?
I've recently been annoyed by the acorn:resin imbalance for my iron ore trees, but wasn't quite ready to invest power into automation for them...the solution? I just melted the acorns and resins directly. It's less efficient, but can be done entirely without power. The only issue from there was piping the wood to my bank of generators.
What's your favorite solution to the problem?
idk what to do ive tried extraction cables and they dont connect to the filing cabinet and the packager so idk what to do if yall have any ideas lmk
I'm automating my trees at the moment with packages but I've run into an issue that they keep jamming because you get more acorns that resin. Does anyone know how to fix this so I get the same amount of each?

How do I make it so it only will drop necessary items in the auto crafter so it won't be stuck doing nothing?
You can use Thermal itemducts and filters to limit the amount that can go in.
You can also do the same with Processing cables in Simple Storage Networks. That basically defines a recipe and only inserts one batch at a time so there's never extras in the machine.
Integrated Dynamics would also be possible, but it's honestly overkill for this.
Xnet can also limit the number of items it inserts into an inventory.
And then, of course, AE2. But I suspect you haven't gotten that far. Likely not even far enough for Xnet. So stick to the thermal pipes or processing cables.
Make an electrum filter and set to keep a stack of acorns and resin in the auto-packager, you get more resin than acorns so if you don't do this the packager will eventually fill with resin and stop working.
Basically what it says in the title, even with a tinkers Iron axe I get 2 stacks of resin before I get 1 of acorns.
So I have a system where my Bonsai (growing on Ruby Mulch) transported the items to a chest to be sorted into packagers and smelted. The thing is, in all of my packages, I have more Resin than acorns. I would be clogged up if I didn't have a filter. I also don't think the number of ores has increased at all! I checked if they maybe got lost on my farm, but it's just not doing anything out of ordinary. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated
prob stupid question but did u remember to accept both resin and acorns (or just acorns) in the extraction itemduct?
i would use AE2 with autocrafting on a big farm. that way it's always getting the right amount of items to make it, and i would save the items in a filing cabinet, cause they can hold infinant amounts of items basically. now you may have more resin because in some recipes use more accorns than resin, like sand and clay.
