August 15, 2020 - Size comparison between ARK Spinosaurus (28.5 m) and Spinosaurus in real life (12.6-18 m). These two actually sit comparatively close to each other in terms of size, and this diagram should be accurate with only a relatively small margin of error.

You will want to get an amulet of might fists, cloak of resistance, and masterwork studded leather barding are good starts for gear. MW studded leather has a 0 ACP so your animal doesn't need proficiency in light armor to wear it. Upgrade your companion's intelligence to a 3, so it can take the narrow frame feat before it becomes large sized. Narrow frame eliminates the AC and attack penalty from squeezing. Large size creatures use four squares (2x2). If any of those squares are occupied by an object such as wall, or a pillar, then your animal is consider squeezing. More on reddit.com

Answer: Spinosaurus was a truly huge animal, and Spinosaurus is the bulkiest carnivorous dinosaur known and the bulkiest terrestrial carnivore in history as well. Recent evidence suggests that its size significantly exceeds that of Tyrannosaur. The sizes used in the films are accurate, comparing...

Spinosaurus | Natural History Museum
We now know that Spinosaurus had quite short legs and may have spent a lot of its time living in and around water. It also had a wide, paddle-like tail. It isn't clear whether this dinosaur swam a lot, or mostly lived on the shoreline. We know from the shape of the dinosaur's jaws that it fed on fish, although it may have eaten other dinosaurs too.

What was the biggest dinosaur? | Natural History Museum
Spinosaurus may have been an outlier when it comes to dinosaurs, possibly having lived a semi-aquatic life, hunting for fish while fully submerged in water, though this idea is contested by some scientists. Giganotosaurus may have hunted giant sauropods such as Argentinosaurus. © Herschel Hoffmeyer/ Shutterstock ... Giganotosaurus was another of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs. Its exact size is difficult to work out however, as we only have fragmentary remains of this predator.
