Hi everyone, the title is pretty self-explanatory, wanted to buy a Staub dutch oven and the best deal I've found was black Staub dutch oven for around 179$ (not a sale, reputable seller) Would you say that it is a good deal? I would rather buy a red one in the same size for a similar price but I don't know if and how often they go that low on a sale and whether the deal I've found is a good one. Should I take it or wait for a sale? EU btw.

No idea for Europe but that size goes on sale for $150 in the US. 4 qt goes on sale for $100.

Amazon has great pricing. Get Keepa add on for your browser and search price history and browse across multiple Amazon regional stores (FR,DE,IT,ES). Sometimes the same item is way cheaper in other stores and is shipped in the same way. I bought 28cm La Mer for 200€ new. Black and Cherry are cheaper than other colors by default.

Is this a good deal for a VI in Basil from the Zwilling Black Friday sale? Wondering if I should grab it now or wait and get it cheaper in a later sale. Hoping to get a 7qt for around $150 like people on here said they’ve gotten them for, but I’d be happy with 5.5. Do you think I should wait for a better deal?

I got the early black Friday access and the 5.5 was listed at 184.99, I grabbed one since Basil is the only color I want.

I got my la mer 5.5 VI about 3-4 years for 160. I prefer that size over the 7qt which is too heavy for my liking for more regular use. Zwilling has the Black Friday sale and sometimes a year-end sale but no guarantees on price or available colors/sizes. I don't think 185 is the best deal but it's hard to say these days with everything becoming more expensive. Basil doesn't come by often though so if it speaks to you, I'd get it! They don't usually become less expensive when the official BF sale opens up.
