My only issue with the course is he skips out on parts that aren't exclusive to web development. Meaning no explanation of git, or some of the quirks of JavaScript, or good practices for programming as a whole and good practices with JavaScript in particular. More on reddit.com

So im assuming at some point youd like to make some cash out of that course eventually. If so id advise you to remove the background noise of your audio using something like audacity. Its free and it takes MAXIMUM 5 minutes including googling how to and installation. More on reddit.com

Even if you make a random pick between Freecodecamp and the Odin Project, you have done more than before. If you don't like it, you can always switch. My name is Jens, and I usually lurk on Reddit and randomly upvote funny or informative stuff, but not today! I have been interested in web programming for a good long time now, and thought it would be fun to create a course so others could learn how to create websites as well.
I actually used a couple of Reddit’s communities (including this one) to see what people wanted to learn in the course, and made this course as a way for people to go from basic HTML/CSS/Javascript to knowing how to set up websites with a database, a combined backend/frontend, and a login/register system
In short, the course covers:

9 different builds, with increasing difficulty

A walkthrough of how each component of the MERN stack works

Storing stuff with a cloud-based database (MongoDB)

Deploying websites through a server
-
How to make a login/register system, and how to use it in the frontend
-
Making a final website, where users can look at music from different artists, and make their own playlists
