Factory stores (JCrew, BR, outlet malls) and getting things on clearance. Buying fewer items, but higher quality items. In-person consignment shops in fancier neighborhoods. Accepting that maybe my wardrobe just won't have X thing in it for a while, if my options are "fast fashion that won't survive the season" or "not in my budget." More on reddit.com

I don’t like shopping online (sizing, you get it) so I mostly thrift. You’ll pry the 3 pieces of quirky clothing I’ve found over many years from my cold dead hands. Personalizing your stuff also helps. I get a lot of compliments on my plain ass jean jacket because I’ve added like 20 patches and a couple pins, and embroidered over a couple holes. Love Bonito - Singapore I love the styles, colors, fabrics and quality for the price. I'm not Asian but the clothes fit my body type better. They also have a lot of features for the price that I don't really see in US brands as much. Like LINED shorts, lined tank tops, padded dresses, bodysuits, etc. The website has actual measurements for all the items. I've never had to pay for shipping either because I'll wait to order $100+ worth or order during a free shipping sale. They're hinting at opening a US store soon which would be awesome.
