Having removed the deminimus exemption for packages under $800 there are now huge backlogs awaiting customs clearance. Same, been waiting for 3 days and today is the 4th. When it changes to “delivery by 9pm” I know the day will be a wash. My package is medication and I’d rather not wait more than I already have 🙃 a package I ordered on the 27th arrived 3 days early via USPS so it’s just annoying me even more More on reddit.com

Today was the 4th day my package was supposedly going to be delivered all four days had the date of delivery, and now my status has changed too “Your package is running late, but still on the way” and what’s even more odd today I never got the status of “out for delivery” like the other 3 days but it did state it was going to be delivered today. What also odd my UPS widget states it will be delivered today at 6.

Hello all,
I have fallen victim to the "severe weather conditions have delayed delivery." I had scheduled my day around the delivery, using vacation day from work, to be sure to be home. I did call because it is 60 and sunny, and I was just going to have it held at the hub for pickup since it's 15 mins away. Rep told me all hub customer services had been closed off to the public. Is this true and why on earth are there so many delays being posted?

UPS closed all customer service counters, no more pick up at UPS, they can be redirected to a UPS store for pick up, but those are franchises. The current top exec (CEO or whatever it’s called now) is changing UPS from customer service to “packages”. …also I live where we had unusual severe winter weather where the small city is not equipped to handle such, and many workers live outside the city and were stuck at home for days, so the delays are real.

UPS abuses the “Emergency Conditions” to manipulate drivers dispatch when they violate the employee’s rights. Many of us drivers have tried to push back on this in defense of the customer, but our management just doesn’t care about customers. I’m sorry this has happened to you
