Canceling a hold for pickup access point request

I want to cancel my ups daily on route pickup. I can’t figure out any way to do that.
so i cancelled my ups pickup will the refund automatically come to me?
Around 8pm today I put in a request to have my package sent to an UPS Access Point location 4 mins (walking) away from my building. It was originally supposed to be delivered tomorrow, but no one would be home to collect it and the building's buzzer doesn't work to let in any delivery personnel. The request says pending and the delivery date says it will updated as soon as possible. Since the access point and the original delivery location are close, would it be ready for pick up tomorrow as well? Or am I better off canceling the request? I don't want the package to end up lost.
i read that i have to do this but does it apply for pickup services?:

Calling 1-800-PICK-UPS® (1-800-742-5877) and say “Refund”.

Or logging into the UPS Billing Center and selecting Request a Refund.
also the second option is mad confusing yo is the first one easier i cant call them yet cause its night
