It sounds like you have the original images in sequences - you're not talking about scaling an exported file? · There is an option in the sequence settings called: 'Scale motion effects proportionally when changing frame size'. · Unfortunately it doesn't really work when scaling up your sequence - it would be nice if it did. · If you had used 'Scale to frame size' on the images in yoru original sequence, then they would appear consistent in a larger sequence - I assume you did not do this and so the only option really is to go through and double the values of your 'scale' keyframes.

Original UHD framesize is lost after exporting to 1080p. · If you want to properly upscale you need the original images.

To upscale your HD sequence to 4K, nest your HD sequence in a 4K timeline in Premiere. Then, send the nest to After Effects for further adjustments if needed.

Thank you so much, I'll try that. Also, when I move the nested sequence to the 4K timeline, it says that the clip does dot match the sequence settings, and asks whether to change settings or keep them as is. I'm guessing I should select keep them as is.
