I've had a Waring WCV300 for about three years. It isn't making a really good vacuum, and after replacing the lid gasket there are no more troubleshooting steps in the manual. The first three authorized Waring repair shops all told me "we don't work on vacuum sealers" and a fourth told me I'm out of their service area, they don't accept drop-offs at their location, and that the repair would probably cost more than replacement.
So I'm pretty turned off by Waring and am coming to accept that I might need to replace rather than fix. I see some bad reviews about the performance of the Anova chamber sealer, and I see a make called Galaxy which also has bad reviews.
Can anyone recommend a reliable chamber sealer make and/or model?
thanks!
Edit: after reading comments here and also reading/watching a bunch of reviews, I'm going with the VacMaster VP95. I was leaning towards the VP230 - between the price and size and a lot of raves about the VP95, I chose that one. Will report here after some use.
