Yes, what a bunch of bs. I've been a customer from nearly the beginning of weebly. Fuck them. And giving so little notice of that huge rate hike in under a month? That seems a bit illegal to notify a user of their hosting subscription ending and having to agree to pay over twice the previous fee to either pay up or get out. A bit like extortion imo. I'm going to look into the legalities of this time frame and it's obvious cause of disruption to business. Sites like that are very similar to game making tools that abstract away from the code.
They are for people who have a passion without the skillset. I own a business and I want to get my presence online, I know nothing of development, dont want to know it, and I can't afford a contractor...etc so I use a site like wix/weebly so I can get myself online and I can at least look half decent in the process.
I'm kid with an idea for a game, no real way to make it, I don't have much in the way of programming skills, don't want to learn. i just like, have all these great game ideas, so i get an rpg maker tool or gamemaker tool and pump out a few basic games. Yeah they look terrible, are bound by the ui tooling, but the end result is I get started on my passion and am able to produce.
Maybe i'll grow enough to pickup someone who can code for me some day, but until that day, quite content with the cheap tooling.

Hi, You can have maximum of 10 websites per Weebly Account. This means that if for example you have a Weebly account with the email address: [email protected] , you can only have maximum of 10 websites within that very account. If you are in need of more than 10 websites (let's say you need 13 websites), you can either: create another Weebly account using a different email address to then create the remaining 3 websites, or create all the 13 (or more) websites via the Designer's platform: https://designers.weebly.com . Regarding the price, Weebly doesn't offer package pricing for multiple websites. You have to pay/subscribe individually to each website. If you have 6 websites, you can either use them as free websites or upgrade each (individually) to premium plans such as the Professional Plan in order to use advanced features. Hope that helps. They seem to have different prices for different regions and they might also change the pricing from time to time. It doesn't seem to be based on whether you're using the default Weebly builder or the limited Square builder, but it might vary based on the store/e-commerce part. There are quite a few alternative services that include both a website and a shop in one package, that might be both more affordable and have better support. You can check out Ecwid (has a shop and a starter site) or Shopify to see if they fit your requirements better. If you still want to keep your existing Weebly pages but move only the shop, Ecwid also works inside Weebly as an app. More on reddit.com

Why are you making this change?
