I plan to attend the BSc in Computer Science at WGU and I have no prior college credits to provide so far. I know it can be solved by taking open credit courses (I'll probably pick Saylor Academy since it is the cheapest option). I'll definitely pick a course of calculus as it is a requirement for Computer Science. However I have no idea of how many other classes are required to be admitted. I wouldn't want to take 10 courses if 3 are enough, especially because the class of calculus alone at Saylor Academy is said to take 122 hours. Does anyone know the minimum number of credits that I should provide to WGU to be admitted?
Other options: certifications. I know that they are not required for the BS in CS. But I’ve read on Reddit that an IT certif can replace college credits in the admission process. So Calculus class + IT certif. = guaranteed acceptance in CS?

Minimum requirements for admission in Computer Science
Should I do Computer Science, Software Development, or Accounting?
The CS program is supposedly applying for ABET in June when they're eligible. It hasn't existed the requisite 12 months yet.
And do CS. Didn't read the details, but CS is always the answer.

I have been working on the Calculus course for the last 2 weeks or so. It is definitely difficult if you are far removed from math (I’m 15 years out of my last math course). The first chapter is all pre calc refresh. I do think there should be a pre calc first cause going into calc blind has been stressful. But it is doable. But zybooks I don’t think is a good resource. I suggest khan academy. It does a good job of showing all the steps. Zybooks (wgu’s course work) just shows the answers. Not how they got them. Since I stopped focusing on zybooks and more on khan academy I do feel I am learning and making progress. Zybooks I felt I was spinning my wheels as I saw the answer they got but not how.
