Hello everyone! I have a question. I have a family member of mine, on the same phone plan with AT&T, who uses an iPhone 12 pro, and they get 5G and 5G+. They had switched to an eSIM, so I thought if i switched to an eSIM also, it would give me access to 5G and 5G+, instead of 5GE. Do I have access to 5G, but it says 5GE, or is there something else I would need to do?

Yes the iPhone 12 gets both 5G and 5G+. It should have no issues. I'd contact AT&T and make sure the IMEI is provisioned correctly as sometimes that can cause issues with connecting to 5G.

3.7 GHz and mmWave 5G, yes, as well as the typical lower bands (n2, n5, n12, n66). No 3.45 GHz support though (you need the iPhone 14 or later for that). Also no n30 support, which is a band AT&T will probably use for 5G down the road.
