I maxed out a card last year when I was going through some tough times and am just now recovering. My More Rewards Amex is showing closed on my credit report but I recently started making payments to pay it down and salvage my relationship with Navy Fed. I got the card under the limit and now have some available credit. I'm confused because the card is showing closed on my credit. Will Navy Fed update this? Am I getting a second chance here?
If it matters, I have 2 checking accounts with NFCU and one Savings account been with them for about 2 1/2 years now
Update I spoke with them. It looks like the card is indeed closed. Thanks for the feedback

The card is closed but the credit line hasn’t been removed. Your card is closed and will stay closed, not a second chance. It will continue to update and once you get the balance down to zero the card will disappear from online banking.

If you tap on the card there in the Pic it will open up, and show pending transactions as well as all the account info, you just need to tap more info under the balance on that page in the app. Hope that makes sense.

Sorry for the dumb question. I'm new to NFCU credit cards.
I looked at my card today to check for any strange charges and noticed that my available credit is 0 but I am no where near my limit.
My bill/statement closes today I'm not sure if that's the reason or if I need to call them.
I don't use it often but still strange. Never had that with my other credit card.

I’ve called them multiple times and they say my card is fine and active. I tried changing my pin. I make sure I have enough money. I’m not sure what to do anymore.

Contact Navy for the denial reason. They will know as the card issuer.

It honestly depends; in the past I’ve had one issue with this happening with navy fed and another with a separate cc company it could be: For some reason they don’t accept that card (usually that’s only with Amex tho) Purchase limit (check your settings on the app for that card) Location- depending on where your buying or paying or where it’s being routed to navy fed might decline it but it won’t freeze your card- this is what happened to me both times A pending transaction that’s not populating yet? Or it’s just navy fed having a stroke for some other ungodly reason

Hey, I just had a quick question. I was looking at the status of my application and noticed that with the card it says Card (Null) anybody know what means? There's an Auth Number below so I hope there's no delay or anything.

I enrolled a few years ago, was approved in a day and it showed the last 4 digits of my card in that spot. A couple weeks ago, my girlfriend enrolled in person - everything went through fine. Approval still pending. I used my Amex card to pay (was there with her), and it also says Card (null). Auth number is there, says paid. I’m sure it has no baring on the process, but not sure why it’s there. Going on 12 days no approval
