I want to order a keyboard bare bones kit, switches, and keycaps from ymdk. I was wondering if it's trustable (which I'm sure it is). Also just any advice, or experiences with ymdk. I tried looking it up and only found a several year old thread.

I’m thinking about getting this set of caps for my board to use for at least a few months until I see an amazing drop in happy with. Has anyone bought and used these? The reviews for then on their Massdrop page are overwhelmingly positive; are there any downsides that I should know about? It almost seems too good to be true!
Thanks for your help?
So i found ymdk keycaps and kailh box jade switches both being sold from ymdk and i wanted to know if they're any good and if ymdk is a trusted seller?
Hello fellow people of the empty wallet society. My brocke ass has purchased a beautiful "YMDK wings" in black, but I am having trouble findig a compatible keycap set for it. How do I know if a set is compatible or not? Any other advice related to stabs, lubricant, gateron yellows and the keyboard it self would also be very much appreciated. ;)
Im am slightly biased towards a monochrome color scheme.with gmk and most other sets you just need to get a spacebar kit during the group buy, if you’re looking for a cheap set then it’s unlikely to support it properly but you can sometimes get away with using a numpad enter or something similar for a spacebar
maybe join one of the geekark bow or wob gbs running right now if youre going for monochrome, they offer split spacebar sizes i believe
Been trying to locate a used set of mint keycaps for a while now on r/mechmarket but haven't had any luck.
Just came across this mint green blank thick PBT OEM profile 87 ANSI keycap set from seller NPKC, shipped from YMDK on Amazon.
Anyone know quality of this set and whether it's worth buying?
Don't buy them from Amazon.
They are good stuff for their price but you can buy directly from their stores on Aliexpress at a lower price.
Getting mediocre cheap caps and then paying more for amazon's cut and shipping makes no sense.
like the other guy said, check if its cheaper direct on their store,in some cases you will get it faster thru amazon, but make sure since some stuff thru their amazon store also ships from china!
Some family members want to know birthday/Christmas ideas and some of the stuff I want can only be bought there. Shipping delays aren’t a big deal, just want to know if it’s trustworthy
Just want to share a photos of my Keychron K2 with YMDK 9009 keycaps.
Building a keyboard on a budget right now whilst trying my best not to let quality drop too much.
I've seen some okay reviews of the keycaps on Banggood. You know, the ones that appear in ads when you literally google keycaps. Anyway, I found out that the company that makes, or at least distributes, a few of them is called YMDKeys. I'm toying with the idea of ordering the Moon Landing 165 key set.
I wonder if anyone has experience of ordering with this company. Is the product good for the price, and were they pleasant to deal with customer service-wise?
Thanks for any help!
I am considering getting the YMDK carbon keycaps to replace my stock Leopold keycaps.
I am wondering how they are? Thank you for your time.
I thought these were going to be carbon fiber for some reason and got oddly excited. Too much time on bike subreddits I guess.
In grabbed a set off amazon. They are “ok”. I am not sure I would want to type on them everyday, but I am spoiled with gmks. The ymdk ones have a roughish feel to them and I can feel the legends. I have them on a board I don’t use much, cause they look decent. But IIRC they are pretty cheap(again see comment about gmk) that you could try them and see how you like them.
