Still no 1080 huh Disney? Like really? What could be the hold up after almost a decade of other channels having 1080 but the largest network and by far the largest sports network have 1080. Ffs Fox, who is nowhere near espn coverage and $$ into sports offers 4k. But the best Disney/ESPN can do is 720? I feel like I'm being trolled or something.

No espn unlimited out of the gate and price hike coming is what I took for it.

I know we will be getting interrogated ESPN Unlimited access within the YouTube TV app by the end of 2026. What about until then? I have seen some articles that reference being able to access ESPN Unlimited through the ESPN app, I can access the normal ESPN channels, but unable to access the programs, WWE, etc. Any information about getting access through the ESPN app? A year seems a long time to wait.

What did they do to deserve getting interrogated?

Who cares about the integration. Just set it up where we can logon as the YTTV provider and be done with it. We waiting long enough without the channels, and we will hopefully not have to wait long where we can logon.

When I try to access ESPN+ content (NFL Turning Point show) in their app, I'm prompted to pay for a plan or link my TV Provider and YTTV is not one of the listed TV Providers. Is anybody seeing anything different than this? I'll assume we need to wait for this to go through.

update: according to Disney, SOME (not all) of ESPN Unlimited content will be integrated into the YTTV app in 2026. We should be getting access to all of ESPN Unlimited via the ESPN app in the near future. We do not yet have access because YTTV is not listed as an eligible TV Provider in the sign in if you try to access Plus/Unlimited content in the app.

Jesus, it is insane people thought this would be an instant transition 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️. There hasn’t even been a standard work day since the deal was made. ESPN unlimited access with YTTV credentials logging into the espn app will be available in a matter of weeks. ESPN Unlimited content being made available inside the yttv app, so there is a unified experience without having to switch to the espn app will take considerably longer… ie end of 2026.

Nope, still tells me I need to buy Unlimited. It's a separate process. I'm hopeful it's activated by Survivor Series.

Disney wants to funnel any viewers who want to watch CBB/CFB to ESPN+/Fubo/Hulu and now I can't watch football this weekend, and if they don't figure out the contract dispute by early next week I won't be able to watch UK's season opener. I am unhappy.

Let’s get this straight. ESPN are the most expensive channels on any platform. And now they want more because they overbid for their content? I fully support YouTube TV for trying to keep our rates low.

Everyone blaming YouTube is missing the point. Disney is trying to either push people to Hulu (owned by Disney) or make YouTube pay more to carry ESPN/ABC channels (also owned by Disney)
