I'm currently on a Ryzen 3600x looking to upgrade for something new.
I was wondering, is there any info regarding what future CPU generations will the Z690 chipset support, besides Alder Lake?

It supports 12th gen and will almost certainly support 13th gen Raptor Lake. I doubt it will support 14th gen though. Intel historically only supports 2 gens each cycle. Raptor Lake is going to have double the E cores, higher IPC and more cache across the board for gaming improvements. That said a 5600x might be a cheaper choice to limo you along until 14th gen Intel or give you time to see what AMD has to offer at the end of the year.
