Any ideas for what I could make in a 1.5 quart enameled Dutch oven?
Bakers percentage suggestions for a boule to fit a 1.5-quart dutch oven?
Sounds more like you're going to be making a roll than a boule. Most dutch ovens used are 6 or 8 qt.

ah-hah! In reading the reviews of the comparably sized Staub pot, I see that it, too, has the dimpled lid. Many reviewers are saying they use these pots for stovetop rice and they feel like the dimple design helps them get better rice. ETA and in reading still further, I have learned that these pots are purposely designed to mimic a type of Japanese stovetop rice cooker.
Duh. No wonder so many reviewers are talking about using them for rice.

To be completely honest, I don't think I realized how small 1.5 quarts actually is when I ordered it. Do you guys have any good small batch Dutch oven recipes I could make, either for when I just need to make a one-pot meal for myself or for making side dishes when serving more people? For example I could probably make some pretty nice baked mac & cheese with this thing.
I'm pretty inexperienced with sourdough percentages but I got a new 1.5qt dutch oven for Christmas and I'd like to make sourdough more. The pot seems a little bit smaller than some of the loaves I've seen on this sub, so I was hoping those of you with more experience than me might be able to suggest some percentages that will yield a single boule that can fit in my dutch oven.
Another note is I only have one proofing basket currently so I can only make one loaf at a time.

Not sure how much the difference between 2 and 1.5qt would be but I have a lodge 2qt dutch oven. A boule with 325g flour (80% hydration, 20% starter, 2% salt) FullProofBaking’s recipe, fits perfectly if not a little tight. I’ve also done some of RosehillSourdough’s recipes for 475g and 500g loaves and those fit very well.
