I‘m planning a move from LP. Should i move to 1password or bitwarden? What are your opinions? What are the differences between the two?
I also used to be a LastPass user. I tried both 1Password and Bitwarden, and opted for 1Password at the end for the following reasons. 1Password uses a secret key (that only you know as it is generated within the app), in addition to your password, to login for the first time in a new environment. This makes the stealing of vaults, like with LastPass' case, pointless because it would be almost impossible to brute force the vault. In that respect, Bitwarden is similar to LastPass in that if the vaults are stolen, the hacker only needs to brute force your password to access your vaults. This is not easy, if you have a good master password, though 1Password makes it almost impossible. The UI of the 1Password app I download on my PC is very slick and I can easily drag items from one vault to another, or category to another. Bitwarden looks more plain, but as a plus it is open source and they also have a free version. More on reddit.com

It is sitting at what looks like 4.0/5, and every other password manager looks to be at least at 4.5/5

The App Store is the same as Reddit in regard to ratings. People rate based on feelings rather than quality and worth.
