r/1Password on Reddit: Chrome extension for 1Password 8 on IOS
February 6, 2023 -

New 1Password user coming from Lastpass. I have been using Google Chrome browser on my iPhone instead of Safari. I just realized that Apple does not allow browser extensions on Chrome for IOS. With 1Password it doesn’t give the suggestions when creating or updating the password field and it seems very limited. Also I can’t figure out how to easily generate passwords when needed on IOS. All that seems to work fine on Windows 11 with Chrome, but not from the iPhone. Am I missing something? Thanks for helping

February 4, 2025 - Click on the 1Password icon where the extensions are. A menu drops down. Click on the "Pin" button. This pins the 1Password icon to your toolbar. With the icon pinned, it's right there on your toolbar so you can quickly use it to open your passwords or add new ones.
