Been using 1Passwors for years, and my anual renewal is coming up. When I first subscribed it was best I'm class in my opinion.
Is that still the case, or are there any better alternatives out there today?
My main devices are an Android phone and Windows computers, so interoperability and cloud sync is important.
I've been looking to switch to a cheaper alternative of 1Password, but I don't seem to find anything that has all the features that 1Password has, probably gonna keep it but wanted to check if you guys know any. Must haves for me are Autofill, built in 2FA and autofill for 2FA codes. If anything comes to mind, please do let me know!

I've been an old-time user of 1Password, but to be honest, I've recently grown disappointed with this app. It's full of bugs and lacks progress (the subscription model doesn't help either).
What are you guys using as an alternative for a managing passwords? Preferably something that works well on both macOS and iOS
I’m trying to stop as many of my subscriptions as possible and 1password is one that I’ve had for years and years because it’s one of those apps that just works well.
I have a family of three and we share passwords between the parents and then sometimes between the kiddo.
Is there anything out there with that level of control and functionality?
After Dashlane's recent price change for Family Premium, it became unaffordable for me. NordPass & Proton Pass came up as good family plan alternatives but they are too new products for me to trust. Bitwarden looked promising but I can't use an app that looks like it's from 2012. So 1Password it is.
Keychain of Apple is quite convenient and cool to use on Safari, but it is not when I surf on Firefox.
So I was recommended 1password as an app to solve my problem, but i think it's too expensive, thinking it is basically subscription.
So here's the question.
Can you recommend password management app including Autofill feature in both Safari and Firefox ?(cheaper than 1password)
Happy day :)
Does anyone have a good alternative to 1Password?
I've been using 1Password for probably over a decade and I have friends in need of a password keeper.
We are 100% against subscription models and thus we need something new.
It's disappointing that the standalone license is no longer offered, but I guess it is what it is.
I've been a 1Password users since it's inception in 2006. What a great app that was back in the days! Simple, easy-to-use, powerful. But now it seems that the app has lost its way and has become bloatware. The move to Electron and now it's inclusion of managing crypto and NFTs has really shaken my confidence in this app and the team behind it.
Are there any alternatives to 1Password for the Mac that allow you to manage passwords across multiple Apple devices?

So basically I'm asking for the most secure, most private, free password manager out there.
Certainly, nothing is more secure than a notebook, but let's face it—no one wants to carry around a notebook everywhere, especially one filled with thousands of passwords.
Thx
Bitwarden and 1Password are the most recommended options. I already have access of Bitwarden family plan and I am searching for a personal one, you guys suggested me to use Bitwarden again. But, I don't like to use same things again.
So, here I am again, requirements are simple -
-
cloud sync
-
secure and privacy focused
-
mobile app support.
Please, don't suggest KeePass, I can't go with it.
Comment section is open and I'm waiting for your valuable suggestions.
Thanks
The Lastpass incident woke me up and really made me think about what I was doing and why I was entrusting my passwords to others.
Now I have come to the decision to switch to a self-hosted password manager.
I am currently a little afraid that my current one might be hit at some point.
I currently use 1Password and would like to switch to the self-hosted version of Bitwarden.
What do you think, is it worth it and do I have to worry about security?
I know a lot about securing Linux servers, so I think I'm relatively safe, but what do you think?
Where should I host, can you recommend a secure hoster that is also trustworthy?
I am currently thinking about using Hetzner, Ionos or AWS.
If possible the hoster should be located in Germany.
I've been doing some research for several hours and I've narrowed down my options for a business password manager to 1Password and NordPass. I've read a lot of great things about 1Password, but I've also noticed that NordPass is becoming a leading contender, with many people suggesting it's even better than 1Password. Opinions are divided, but there seems to be a trend among specialists leaning towards NordPass.
Personally, I prefer NordPass's design, but I appreciate 1Password's mission and the direction they are heading, along with their long-standing presence in the market. I'm planning to not only set up a password manager for my business but also migrate my personal passwords from my old manager to a new one.
My main concern is which of these two tools allows for a smoother switching between my personal and business vaults. I want to know if NordPass or 1Password is better suited for this kind of seamless switching. I'll be spending most of my time in my personal vault, but occasionally, I'll need to switch to the business vault.
Additionally, autofill functionality is crucial for me, and I've heard mixed reviews about both. Some say NordPass is better, while others prefer 1Password.
Does anyone have experience with both tools and can provide some insight on which one offers a better experience for managing both personal and business passwords, particularly with seamless switching and autofill performance?
Thanks in advance!
