[Question] Artists, what reference library do you use, do you use pictures you have taken yourself? 3D models? Video game screenshots? Would love to know any resources that help in your process!
Depends on the pose, for more generic ones I usually go to google pinteret, etc. For more specific poses (especially with wierd camera angles) I will take a photo of myself. Other than that I like to use Posemaniacs . it has a tone of static poses you can rotate in 3D. Also for any kind of object I go to Sketchfab . More on reddit.com

May 7, 2024 - https://posemy.art/ <lots of joints so you can really get into the details of the pose, even the indivual joints on the fingers, which iirc magic poser doesn't do. Pretty standard 3d modeling controls, was able to make this vvv simple pose in 10-15 minutes, more complicated poses would probably take you a good chunk of time to work out

so, I have kind of a moral struggle. I had been drawing for approximately 1 year, and Im still bad at it, so a while ago I decided to use some 3d models(especially app Poselt) as reference, and it turns out pretty good (as can be seen in slide 2), but Im afraid that this is not a good way to do art, and that it will also ruin my learning curve, so... Is it ok to use them? Do you have any tips to replace it or something else?
