Instead, I spent five nights across two locations on Ko Lanta — Long Beach and Kantiang Bay — and took day trips to other islands like Ko Phi Phi, with its famous Maya Bay. November 5, 2025 - This is a popular 4-star beachfront resort in Koh Lanta located in the northern area of Long Beach. It is just south of Klong Dao, and is around 10 minutes drive to the island’s main town. You can easily reach a range of restaurants and bars from the main road just behind the resort. The resort has multiple swimming pools and offers direct access to the beach. The on- site restaurant and beach bar are great places to watch the sunset and enjoy the nightlife.

Klong Khong is not the best for swimming, but it offers more affordable resorts with pools compared to other parts of the island. Klong Nin, on the other hand, is a great choice for a relaxing, swimming-friendly beach, offering the perfect balance of amenities and tranquility.

With kilometers of soft sand and warm azur waters, Ko Lanta is a paradise for beach lovers and travelers seeking sun and tranquillity. The best stretches of sand lie along the west coast. Starting in the north, Klong Dao Beach is a wide and long beach near Ban Saladan village, which is the jumping-off point for many tourists arriving on the island.
